Restore The Trust Initiative Disclosure

A percentage of coordination fees is allocated to Restore The Trust Initiative, which supports reentry costs for African-American men post-incarceration. This is a discretionary administrative allocation by BTF, not a registered charity. Members do not contribute directly to Restore The Trust Initiative—allocation happens from coordination fees only. No separate donation is solicited. BTF determines allocation amounts at its sole discretion.

Community Reserve

BTF may allocate a portion of certain coordination fees to an internal Community Reserve maintained by BTF for platform support purposes. The Community Reserve is not member property, is not a charitable fund, and does not represent a deposit, savings account, trust account, or guarantee of funding. BTF may, in its sole discretion, use amounts in the Community Reserve to support selected funding rounds or to seed future platform programs, subject to BTF policies, available funds, and applicable law. Members have no ownership interest, withdrawal right, or entitlement to any amount in the Community Reserve.

Liability Guardrails

The Community Reserve does not guarantee that any funding round will be completed or that any member will receive support. BTF makes no promise that reserve funds will be available in any particular case. Reserve usage is discretionary and may be denied, delayed, reduced, or discontinued. Reserve balances are internal company funds and may be used only in accordance with BTF policy.
