Black Americans face a documented emergency savings crisis. When a financial emergency hits, the options are a bank that says no, a credit card that compounds the problem, a church benevolence fund that is already stretched thin, or a public fundraiser that requires you to expose your hardship to the world. None of these options preserve dignity.
There is a better way. One that our community has always known, but never had the infrastructure to make organized, private, and dignified.

Give Before You Receive
When a member's case is approved, the community receives a notification to show up. Each contributing member sends funds directly to that person's CashApp account, peer to peer, with no middleman involved. If you have a CashApp account, you can be part of that moment.
When Life Hits
After 30 days of membership, you can submit a case. The community reviews it. If approved, the collective funds you, directly, privately, without performing your pain publicly.
