Data Deletion Request

The Black Trust Fund respects your right to request deletion of your personal data under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

⚠️ Important: Data deletion is permanent and irreversible

Once processed:

  • Your account will be permanently closed
  • Your contribution history will be anonymized
  • Your case history will be anonymized
  • You will lose access to all TBTF services
  • This action cannot be undone

What we CANNOT delete:

  • Transaction records required by law (7-year retention for tax/audit compliance)
  • Anonymized aggregate data used for platform analytics
  • Records required for legal proceedings or disputes
  • Financial records required for tax reporting

These exceptions are required by law and TBTF's fiduciary obligations. Your personal identifiable information will be anonymized in these records.

This must match the email address on your TBTF account

Find your Member ID in your profile settings at /member/settings

Please confirm the following:

By submitting this form, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the information above

After submitting:

  • ✓ You will receive a confirmation email
  • ✓ We will process your request within 30 days
  • ✓ You will receive a completion confirmation when your data has been deleted
