I am Jersey through and through. Born and raised in Essex County, where grit is not a personality trait, it is a survival requirement. That community-first mindset shaped everything about how I see the world and everything about why I built this.

For over twenty years I worked inside the Black Church. Not as a spectator, as a professional. Editor-in-Chief. Chief Creative Writer. Campaign architect. I served an international prophetic ministry that speaks daily to over one million subscribers. I have watched up close what happens when a community believes in something together.

I watched brilliant people, people who did everything right, who gave faithfully, who showed up consistently, still get left behind. Not because they lacked talent. Not because they lacked faith. Because they lacked access to the starting blocks.

At the same time I watched the Black Church do something extraordinary. Week after week, members dedicated to the principles of seed, time, and harvest showed up and gave. The reciprocity was real. The culture of mutual support was alive. But one church alone cannot harvest the entire forest.

TBTF is what happens when you take that sacred culture, that ancient, unbreakable instinct to show up for each other, and build infrastructure around it.

I wanted to build a place with no gatekeepers. No cold shoulder. No approval from anyone who was never going to show up for us anyway. Just us. Showing up for us.

I studied English, Hospitality, and Data Science across various institutions after high school. My real education happened in pews, in boardrooms, in late nights building systems for people who deserved better ones. Every step taught me the same thing: If you want to see real change, you have to be willing to build that table yourself.

TBTF is that table. It is built on the esusu, the ancient African rotating credit system that our ancestors carried across the ocean because they knew that community is the only bank that never forecloses on its own people.

It is governed by accountability, not charity. Every case is reviewed by a human being. Every contribution is confirmed by the sender. Every member walks a 30-day journey before they can ask anything of this community, because belonging requires something of you first.
