An emergency fund powered by your community, not a bank.

Pre-committed pledges. Peer-to-peer payments. Proof of use within 48 hours.

Why Traditional Emergency Funds Fail

Financial advisors tell you to save three to six months of expenses. For most people, that's $15,000 to $30,000 sitting in a savings account earning nothing while inflation eats it.

And when the real emergency hits — the transmission goes out, a medical bill arrives, the roof starts leaking — that fund evaporates. Then the next crisis finds you starting from zero again.

The problem is not discipline. The problem is isolation. You're carrying risk alone that your community could carry together.

A community emergency fund spreads the risk across everyone. When you need $1,200, fifty people each give $24. Next month, you're one of the fifty for someone else.

How TBTF Makes Community Emergency Funds Work

The Black Trust Fund (TBTF) is an emergency fund powered by pre-committed community pledges, not your personal savings account.

Every member commits a monthly Trust Pledge ($10 to $100). When an emergency is verified — human-reviewed, specific, urgent — the community receives the wave. Funds move peer-to-peer via CashApp. No bank. No TBTF custody.

Within 48 hours, the recipient uploads proof of use. The circle sees confirmation that their contribution solved a real problem.

This is not insurance. This is reciprocity infrastructure. You show up for others before your crisis hits, and they show up for you when it does.

How It Works

1. Pre-Commit Your Emergency Pledge

Choose your Trust Pledge: $10, $25, $50, or $100 per month. This is your commitment to cover emergencies for others before you know whose emergency it will be. The community fund works because everyone commits before the crisis.

2. Verified Emergencies Activate the Fund

A member submits a case: car broke down and they need $900 to fix it. Rent is $600 short with 4 days until eviction. The case is reviewed. If approved, the wave goes out with their CashApp handle. You send directly to them.

3. Proof Confirms the Fund Worked

Within 48 hours, the recipient uploads the paid receipt. The community sees confirmation. Your contribution solved the problem. The fund worked the way it's supposed to.

Built on Dignity, Reciprocity, and Trust

This is not charity. This is risk-pooling. You are not asking for help. You are activating the covenant you already participated in.

You gave before you needed help. When you need it, the community gives back. The proof system protects everyone. The accountability layer keeps the fund sustainable.

Emergency funds work when they're collective. TBTF is the infrastructure that makes collective emergency funds reliable.

Your next emergency doesn't drain your savings alone. It's carried by the community you already showed up for.

The fund is forming. The first 1,000 founding members are joining now.
